he lives in a small town and still sees his ex regularly, and still keeps in contact with her family. they've been broken up for 2 years, and dated for 4 years prior to that. she still wears the ring he gave her. shes the dental assistant at his dentists office.
What do you do when you can't get over your boyfriend's sexual/dating past?
You break things off with him and look for someone who lives up to your standards.

Reply:the past is something that has happened before and doesnt continue to happen this is still going on so its not the past its the present there is nothing to get over cause its still there to get over it means that its not happening in the present

Reply:OH my goodness!!!! I'm going through the EXACT same thing!!!! I did talk to him about it extensivley and he agreed to stop talking to her. However, I still can't help thinking if he has or hasn't. I guess you and I should just trust that there are no more feelings and talk to him about it if you haven't already. Good Luck!!!
