Doctor and dentist in DC?

Hi, moving to DC this week and I need a great MD, like an internist or family doctor. I look for experience and friendliness and connections to a decent hospital.





Also looking for a really outstanding dentist in DC.

Doctor and dentist in DC?
Hi, I really can't help with a specific name of a doctor, as I mostly relied on an ob-gyn (you look like you might not need that ;-)





However, take a look at the doctors on staff at Georgetown Hospital (first choice) or George Washington (second choice) and work from there; many of the doctors have offices outside of the hospital itself. All 3 of my kids were delivered at Georgetown and the doctors and facility are among the best in the country (take a look at US News and World Report when they do their annual medical survey).





When I worked in VA, my dentist was a one man show in Alexandria, VA, but he was good, flexible and always ready if you had an emergency. His name was Miller Lewis and his office was not difficult to get to from DC, maybe a 15 minute drive over the Arlington Cemetery Bridge. In MD, there is the Dental Group in Riverdale (maybe 10 minutes past the DC-MD border) which has a huge staff. If you're looking for pediatric dentists, try Dr. Camps in Silver Spring, MD, one of the best, all my kids loved them.
