How good is your memory for birthdays & private appointments?

For my research, could you kindly tell me:

-If you often forget birthdays of your friends, family %26amp; colleagues?

-If you often forget private appointments (dinner, dentist, parent-teacher evening etc)?

-How you keep track of birthdays or private appointments (in your head, on paper, PDA, phone, other)?

Optional:

-Are you male/female?

-On which continent do you live?

Your responses will be highly appreciated!

Thanks and regards,

Michael.

Reply:I don't forget b-days or appointments easily. I write the appointments on my calender in the kitchen. B-days I just tend to remember. The only time I forget appointments are if they are made months in advance like dental cleanings, check ups for ongoing medical problems.

Reply:I remember them. They worry me constantly to the point of waking up worrying the time has come and I'm missing it. My Mac iCal is nice, but I'm not at all diligent about entering/updating.

I NEVER forget birthdays or appointments. I have an excellent memory when it comes to the calendar.

I usually write everything in a calendar but remember it in my head.
Reply:I have a terrible memory for these things. I have actually joined a site that reminds you by email of family and friends birthdays and you can even send them a card from there.

I ALWAYS forget... I spoke to my brother 3 times on his birthday and didn't remember to wish him a happy one ONCE, because it fell on a weekend.

-If you often forget private appointments (dinner, dentist, parent-teacher evening etc)? I am a little better with Dr appointments and the like, because those things happen during the week and I am more structure at work.

-How you keep track of birthdays or private appointments (in your head, on paper, PDA, phone, other)? My Desk pad at work,

I even call in on the weekends and evenings to leave messages for myself.... if I put it on my deskpad I tend to not forget.
