Maid of Honor speech for my Mom's wedding?

Help! I am the Maid of Honor in my Mom's wedding this saturday and I have no speech yet. She and I are close now, but it hasnt always been that way. On top of all this is marrying into a very wealth family, so the room will be full of doctor's, lawyers, and dentists! I want to keep it short and sweet, but funny too! Any ideas would be SO greatly appricated!

Reply:Oh sweetie! you are in a very similar situation i was in a couple of months ago haha... my sister got married and i was the maid of honor....it honestly comes down to that moment..... when you get up and you realize you cant prepare for it... nothing i wrote down helped me at all.... i just got up and looked at my sister and spoke to her like there was no on e else listening telling her how proud i am and happy i am for her... reminding her i love her and i will always be there and how much of an honor it was to be her maid of honor. no one can tell you what to say love... it needs to come from your heart darling! good luck!!
Reply:Don't try to prepare to much. Remember to go with what's in your heart. If you try to hard to be funny you might end up embarassing youself or worse your mom. Just be yourself, relax and you'll do just fine.
