I have TMJ! It's always ran in my family, but i haven't been to the dentist or doctor or anything about it. I know exactly what they are going to say, so I have bought a mouth guard (for teeth grinders) and it worked for a while. But lately its not. is there anything else that I can do at home because it's really starting to hurt again.

tramadol is the only thing that helped me; that is a drug that you can take to relieve pain; ask your dentist about it;
Reply:I have TMJ too, only I haven't done anything for it. You can go to a TMJ specialist near you, %26amp; they will see if they can do anything for it. Otherwise, their really isn't anything. I wish their was, it's painful !
