I would hope that a family of three could do just fine on almost a quarter of a million a year. IS this a serious question?!?!?!

Reply:If their expenses are 80% or better of their income, I would say they need financial counseling.
Reply:Wow i would say good as long as you mange the money correctly, Like dont buy five Ferrari's, and live in some big house and barely make it along as you try to make more money get a good descent house that can maintain a family, and for the cars get something cool but not like omg how are we going to make this payment, i rather live in a small house with loads of pocket money then a big house where i couldn't afford anything else.
Reply:Depends on where you live and what kind of living you are accustomed to. I have two kids and live in Iowa, we could survive quite comfortably on just the $100K a year!!
