but how do i approach these professionals to ask for help


since i dont have the pilot produced yet ? i need help with those production cost. i have writing help i have a location for the filming and i have a few actors and the script.

See if there's a film %26amp; tv production counsil where you plan to set up shop. They can help fledgling productions like yours get things off the ground in order to help thier local economy and bring more productions to their area. Good luck!
Reply:You're for sure going to have to show your own sacrifice. No one will want to invest money with your project, if you're not putting yourself on the line all the way.





Also, you have to be advancing a really outstanding idea. They'll have to be interested in the story.

Do the leg work and go see these people personally. You have to sell yourself, your concept and your soul.
Reply:Approach those already in the business. Those not involved may not have the incentive to shell out money.





They may not be happy if they don't get a good return, especially, if the tv project is not picked up by a network.





Ask friends, family, actors, etc.
