What is the average beginning wage for a dental receptionist?
In Austin, TX the average starting pay for a medical receptionist is $10-$12/hr. But recently Ive seen as low as 9.00/hr. if I were you, I wouldnt accept any less than $11 hr.
Reply:You definitely don't want to take less, than $11.00 an hr., where I live in North Carolina they would pay only $9.00 and that would be with experience, and I would not work for my own dentist/dr's...
Reply:In the St. Louis area, the average beginning wage for a dental office receptionist is about $12 per hour or less. However, some areas are offering $14-16 per hour with benefits added.
