Any dentists out there?

ok, i'm almost 13 if that has to do with anything.... um... as a five year old i didnt really brush my teeth that much. i do now though. my teeth are still quite yellow whitish. my question is.. at the bbottom of my front teeth, there is a line, it looks like its hallow there. and i really want that to go away. my family cant afford braces(i say that cuz i have a slight overbite)

Any dentists out there?
Without seeing your mouth it's hard to know what you are describing but, from your history, it sounds like it may be decalcification lines. This can be restored but you really need to talk this over with your dentist.
Reply:It is so hard to go see a dentist when your family doesn't have much money. I understand what you are going through. I would not be able to see a dentist if I did not work for one. I refer my patients that don't really have enough money to spend on there teeth to the dental school in our area. You should look into the dental schools in your area and see if your parents can take you there to have treatment done. It is much cheaper than seeing a regular dentist because the dental students will be the ones doing your treatment under the supervision of a dentist. My husband got braces done at a dental school and they did a very good job. I hope that you get to see a dentist soon. Good Luck!
