If given choice between working/living in Seattle or Atlanta, what would you recommend? And, why?

I am 32, single, Asian male. I've been to both places and loved them all! Personally, I love the water and the rain. (Atlanta only has a river...) But I get a "gut feeling" that Atlanta has more economic growth and younger families. I am a dentist btw.

Any suggestions/comments would be welcomed!

I haven't lived in (or even been to) Seattle, but I can give opinions on Atlanta. We lived in Atlanta for 2 years. We have lived all over the eastern coast and midwest.

Atlanta is the cheapest place we have lived overall. Real estate is low, groceries are low, taxes are low, gasoline is low. People are friendly, pace of living is slower than other places. Lots of cultural opportunities.

The biggest negative I would mention is the traffic. Terrible. If you choose Atlanta, live near where you work.

Also, a good melting pot, although there is still racial bias, which is probably everywhere in the USA.
