Should I be a dentist or a psychiatrist?

well...i know both are in medical field. I'm already taking honors math and AP science class. but im still not sure which one I should really persue. Can someone please list me pros and cons? and i money and time with family wise? thanks you.

Should I be a dentist or a psychiatrist?
A psychiatrist makes more money, but you have to go through med school. Dental school (assuming you don't go for a specialized field) only takes 4 years (after your BS/BA).
Reply:I'd rather be a psychiatrist. Spending my days with my hands in someone else's mouth is not my idea of a rewarding career choice.

Reply:I would choose psych. over dental. The thought of having my hands in someones mouth all day just eeeks me out. I like to write, so I think treating psychiatric patients would be a great source for ideas.
