The best way to find a dentist that takes your HMO is to call your ins. co. They have a list of dental provider's that you can choose from.


Can you switch to a PPO? HMO's are a pain to deal with. You have to go to the Dr. in network. With a PPO, you are able to go to any Dr. that you choose ( in or out of network ).


There are so many options with a PPO, where as you are restricted w/ the HMO.


I live in northern NJ as well, I do not know any dentists' that take Cigna HMO, but I can reccommend an excellent dentist. Let me know if you are interested in info. He's in Raritan.
